FLYTE - Levitating Light

FLYTE is a levitating light which hovers by magnetic levitation and is powered through the air.

With FLYTE, the lightbulb has been set free.

So, What's The Deal With FLYTE?

How Do I Make FLYTE Levitate?

Gently lower the bulb over the center of the magnetic base.

The LEDs will start to light up and you will start to feel an upward resistance.

When the bulb is positioned exactly at the center of the base, you will feel a gentle release.

The electro-magnets will automatically center the bulb in position. Slowly let go of the bulb and it willl lock in position, light up and rotate slowly.

Designed in Sweden, the FLYTE base is made of sustainable sourced oak, ash and walnut.

FLYTE is designed to look good, feel good and last a long time.

Energy efficient LEDs rated at about 50,000 hours are used. That's 12 hours a day for 11 years!

How Does FLYTE Work?

Wireless power transfer transmission has been around since the days of Nikola Tesla.

With FLYTE, Tesla's tech has been combined with magnetic levitation to open up a magical world of possibilities.

Power is transferred wirelessly from the base to the bulb.

The wireless power module transmits about 5V and is completely safe and harmless. Edison and Tesla are finally friends.

Estimated shipping date: October/November 2015
